Tolaz DT 2.5 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Mental illness Delusions Irritated mood Mood stabilization Schizophrenia Manic episodes in bipolar disorder

Tolaz Dt 2.5mg Tablet 15's is not recommended for treatment in patients with Dementia-Related Psychosis. Brief your medical history to the doctor if you have any allergic reactions, liver or kidney diseases, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, heart problems, breathing problems, high cholesterol, glaucoma, diabetes, bowel problems, breathing problem during sleep (sleep apnea), low white blood cell count, breast cancer, enlarged prostate, and fits before starting Tolaz Dt 2.5mg Tablet 15's. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive before starting this medicine. Tolaz Dt 2.5mg Tablet 15's is not recommended during breastfeeding. Avoid consuming alcohol as it might lead to increased side effects like dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery as Tolaz Dt 2.5mg Tablet 15's may decrease your mental alertness, making you feel dizzy or drowsy. Tolaz Dt 2.5mg Tablet 15's is not recommended for people below 12 years of age as the safety and effectiveness have not been established.

Feeling lightheaded, sleepy, having blurred eyesight, or a change in thinking clearly. Avoid driving and doing other tasks or actions that call for you to be alert or have clear eyesight until you see how this drug affects you. Feeling dizzy. Rise slowly over a few minutes when sitting or lying down. Be careful climbing. Nervous and excitable. High cholesterol level. Hostility. Hard stools (constipation). Drinking more liquids, working out, or adding fiber to your diet may help. Talk with your doctor about a stool softener or laxative. Dry mouth. Good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. See a dentist often. Weight gain. High blood sugar. This most often goes back to normal when drug is stopped. Not able to sleep

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Tolaz DT 2.5 Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Tolaz DT 2.5 Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Alcohol Areomeprazole Benzodiazepines Carbamazepine Ciprofloxacin Diltiazem Either diazepam Erythromycin Fluvoxamine Rifampin

When a dose is taken in higher dose than the recommended doses, it is called Overdose. Overdose always needs a clinical supervision. Any medicine or drug when consumed in Overdose produces untoward side effects on one or various organs in the body. A medicine is excreted in the kidney or metabolized in the liver most of the times. This process goes without any hurdles when taken in normal dose, but when taken in an overdose, the body is not able to metabolize it or send it out properly which causes the effects of anoverdose.

Before using Tolaz DT 2.5 Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below. Alzheimer's disease and dementia Avoid driving and operating heavy machinery Do not consume alcohol while taking olanzapine Do not consume olanzapine if suffering from diabetes, blood pressure, heart problems Do not consume olanzapine tablet if allergic Parkinson's disease

In case you miss a dose, use it as soon as you notice. If it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your dosing schedule. Do not use extra dose to make up for a missed dose. If you are regularly missing doses, consider setting an alarm or asking a family member to remind you. Please consult your doctor to discuss changes in your dosing schedule or a new schedule to make up for missed doses, if you have missed too many doses recently.
